Appearance:

Refined and expressive. Opens with notes of dried fruits (figs, sultanas), candied orange peel, and sweet tobacco. Subtle hints of sandalwood, cocoa, and nutmeg arise with time. The agricole character remains present in the background, lending freshness.

Palate:
Elegant and well-structured. Initial flavors of vanilla bean and roasted nuts evolve into deeper tones of leather, molasses, and oak spice. A touch of anise and tropical wood resin adds intrigue. The texture is silky, with a balanced mid-palate and just enough brightness to lift the richness.

Finish:
Long and warming. Ends on notes of baking spice, old wood, and a trace of herbal cane—a hallmark of traditional agricole distillation.

The Distillery: Trois Rivières

Founded in the 17th century, Trois Rivières is one of the oldest distilleries in the Caribbean. Its name comes from the three rivers bordering the estate: Oman, Bois d’Inde, and Saint-Pierre. The estate benefits from clay-limestone soils and sea-facing sugarcane fields that contribute to the unique salinity and minerality of their rums.

The distillery is known for preserving traditional methods—such as the use of a Creole column still—while producing rums that reflect both heritage and terroir. The AOC label guarantees not only geographic origin but also adherence to strict production standards.
